Pulse AI does not rely on a single AI provider. It coordinates five engines, each selected for a specific type of task. The intelligent routing layer evaluates every request in real-time and sends it to the right engine based on what the task requires — reasoning, pattern retrieval, content generation, live research, or failsafe. If an engine fails, the system reroutes automatically through the remaining four. The second engine operates entirely on proprietary accumulated intelligence that no competitor can replicate.

It operates as a 5-agent swarm — strategist, image generator, writer, QA validator, and publisher — coordinated through Protocol One, a 47-rule quality assurance system built from 2,700+ article iterations.

Every article passes a 15-point automated QA audit before publishing — word count, formatting, competitor section parity, closing block structure, meta description length, image validation, and more. Articles that fail any check are rejected back to the writer agent with specific correction instructions. Nothing publishes without QA approval.

Custom agents are created through the Builder with tool selection checkboxes — web scraping, code sandbox execution, voice generation, real-time research. Each custom agent inherits the full 5-engine routing and failover architecture.

Every client deployment follows Ghost Architecture: TFSF builds the AI agent infrastructure, configures it for the client's specific vertical and operations, deploys it to production, and the client retains full ownership of every line of code. No vendor lock-in. No recurring SaaS fees on the software itself. Infrastructure costs (AI model API usage) passed through at cost with no markup.

Before this layer, every agent operated in isolation. Agent #37 could predict compliance risk, but it couldn't tell the lead intelligence agent to flag the affected client. The content QA agent could reject an article, but it couldn't instruct the writer agent to fix it. Now it can. Every agent has an inbox, can send structured messages to any other agent, and can participate in threaded multi-turn conversations.

Every agent now checks its inbox before execution — incorporating pending instructions from other agents — and automatically forwards its results to downstream agents after execution. The system is self-coordinating.

Every agent can be assigned a cron schedule — weekly, daily, hourly, every 15 minutes. A system heartbeat fires every 60 seconds, checks which agents are due, and dispatches them in parallel. Overlap prevention ensures no agent runs twice simultaneously. Timeout enforcement kills stuck runs. Retry logic handles transient failures. Every execution is logged with duration, resource usage, cost, input, and output.
